Paula Ford started working as Senior Consultant at Balance at Work in 2016. Paula brings to the team valuable skills and experience in HR strategy, coaching and organisational development.

After starting her working life in finance in a large private sector organisation, Paula really wanted to work closely with employees. A secondment in HR led her back to study and to the realisation that the psychology side of HR was what really interested her. As a result, Paula focused more in this area and completed further studies in management psychology and executive coaching, making her a perfect fit for the Balance at Work team.

At the end of 2016, Louise was given a fabulous opportunity to reinvent her working life. Motivated by a passion to find enjoyment and satisfaction at work for herself and others, she joined the Balance at Work team early in 2017 as Manager Client Projects, bringing the team the benefit of her experience in leadership, employee engagement and organisational culture.

Louise has over 25 years’ experience in sales, marketing and customer service, working in global healthcare organisations. Her various roles have given her much practice in recruitment, strategic planning, process evaluation, facilitation, negotiation, and team leadership and development. Louise’s career and life choices have also given her many insights into the impact of change and how we adapt. She believes everybody should be given the opportunity to fulfill their potential and find meaning in their work.

"The last couple of years at batyr has seen incredible growth and the Balance at Work team has supported us along the way. They have helped us improve leadership skills across the team by helping us source and manage mentors, and even engaging as mentors themselves. As a young and fresh CEO Susan has also supported me personally with genuine feedback and fearless advice to achieve great things. "

"The leadership team at Insurance Advisernet engaged Susan from Balance at Work to run our leadership development survey and learning sessions. Susan was very professional in delivering the team and individual strengths and opportunities for growth. Susan's approach was very "non corporate" in style which was refreshing to see. I can't recommend Balance at Work more highly to lead employee and team development sessions."
